Personal items from the BAD World Tour of 1987-1988 sponsored by Pepsi, at the former Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland. Concert date was Tuesday, October 18, 1988. Collection includes an autographed sweatshirt, autographed tour program, and a set of two tickets. This was one of four sold-out shows held at the former arena.
This sweatshirt was custom hand-painted for the individual shown in the photos. Michael signed the back with a personalized message in red marker. MJ also initialed the front left shoulder of the sweatshirt. Also attached is the backstage pass sticker for the meet and greet. The photos show proof of Michael signing this sweatshirt, and serve as authenticity and provenance. This collection is being sold by the original owner.
The condition of the sweatshirt is very good. It has been in storage since 1988. The shirt does have stains and garment discolorations on the sleeves and elsewear. Please see all photos to serve as condition description. There are no holes or tears anywhere on the sweatshirt, which is a size Large. This, along with the other items, have always been stored in a pet and smoke free environment.
The Official Concert Tour Program is also hand signed by Michael with a personalized autograph in ink. This book is in good condition, completely intact, with no missing or torn pages. There is normal wear from age and being held the night of the concert.
Also included are two of the complete concert tickets for the night of this attended show. The tickets are in very good condition.
