Ultra rare 1954-1955 Elvis Presley's first 8x10 promo photo used when he joined the Louisiana Hayride. Photo is glossy heavy paper stock. Very good - excellent condition, with no creases. Nice sharp image of the young Elvis. One tiny spot of residue to left of image that is really not noticeable. The back has some scapbook paper attached. This photo was acquired from a east Texas lady who bought the photo at the Louisiana Hayride show she attended. This photo is from the collection of Stanley Oberst who is the author of Elvis Rockin Across Texas which was published by Follow That Dream with two unreleased Elvis shows RCA provided for the book. Stanley met and interviewed quite a few fans for his books and acquired a nice collection of Elvis photos and memorabilia.
