  5. John Lennon Signed 1962 Promotional Photo The Beatles

Scarce black-and-white 3.5" x 5.25" promotional photo card signed in blue ballpoint pen by Beatles band member John Lennon, additionally inscribed “love to Lindy.” The card remains in very good condition, exhibiting light scattered wear consistent with age, including a few small water marks on the signed side, none of which detract from or obscure the autograph. Accompanied by a Tracks Certificate of Authenticity. The image was taken by Astrid Kirchherr during the famed attic photo sessions at Stuart Sutcliffe’s art studio in Kirchherr’s Hamburg home, Germany, in 1962. Produced in November 1962 — just months after Ringo Starr joined the group — this card is regarded as one of the earliest Beatles promotional items ever issued. A remarkable early artifact from the band’s formative period, it offers a rare and intimate glimpse of John Lennon at the very beginning of The Beatles’ ascent and stands as a powerful memento of one of the most influential figures in modern music history.
